Weldon Solutions announces leadership transition in Grinder Sales

Weldon Solutions is proud to announce changes to its grinder sales team as the company continues to expand its workforce.

We have promoted Ben Cornbower, a sales engineer and 15-year employee, to Manager of Grinder Sales. He succeeds longtime director of sales and marketing Denny Rowe, who retired on Dec. 31 after 26 years with Weldon.

“Denny was always the go-to guy. He was very detailed-oriented and always made sure customers got exactly what they wanted, so it’s hard to let that go,” said Travis Gentzler, President of Weldon Solutions. “We’re excited to promote Ben because he brings a lot of grinder experience and our customers know him. It should be a very smooth transition.”

Since transitioning to employee ownership in 1999 under an Employee Stock Ownership Plan, Weldon Solutions has doubled its workforce to 40 people. Through investments in innovative technologies and their people, Weldon Solutions is committed to greater growth ahead.
