WELDON ROBOTIC AUTOMATION
Robotic Automation
Weldon Solutions. Your Team Member.
When you choose Weldon Solutions, you will soon discover we are not just an automation supplier – we are a member of your team.
The partnerships that we form with our customers are the cornerstone to developing successful process solutions. We combine your process expertise with our engineering experience to develop innovative and easy-to-use systems that will help you outperform your competition every time.
In manufacturing, many tasks involve transfer of parts and components to and from machinery. In the food and beverage industry, products are to be picked, packed into cases and palletized. In warehouses parcels must be packed into containers. Robots are ideal for such tasks – eliminating tedious manual labor and replacing expensive special built machinery.
Weldon Solutions is also a member of the Robotic Industries Association. Founded in 1974, RIA is the only trade group in North America organized specifically to serve the robotics industry. Member companies include leading robot manufacturers, users, system integrators, component suppliers, research groups, and consulting firms.
SYSTEM DESIGN
AND COMPONENTS
Weldon Solutions engineers understand the multidisciplinary nature
of robotic systems, including system design, feedback control systems,
vision-based control, and autonomy. Whatever the application
requires – closed-loop control for robotic systems, mobile robots,
vision techniques for robotics, building autonomous robotic systems…
Weldon delivers!
Vision/Line Tracking
In the machine tool industry our automation solutions set the standard for reliability and affordability. When compared to traditional gantries, articulated robotic solutions enable you to…
- Achieve shorter installation time resulting in lower integration costs
- Replace part carousels with pallets for part queing to reduce overall system costs
- Eliminate some moving components such as rotary actuators to minimize maintenance expenses
- Use one robot to tend multiple machines with multiple operations to lower your capital investment
- Have more vaulable floor space available
Force Sensing
Weldon Solutions has engineered a compact robotic cell to automatically deburr small parts. Compliant tooling, programmable robot path and an ID/OD gripper provide the flexibility to deburr a broad range of part profiles with a single machine. The features include:
- A compact, portable design
- Multi-feature deburring of up to 6 parts per minute
- Flexible design and construction allowing for simple changeover when deburring different parts
3D Picking
Weldon Solutions can engineer a robotic solution for high-speed picking of parts and components for organization or packaging.

Preparing for growth as product demand increases
While talks of recession and slowdowns continue, things are humming along at Weldon Solutions as we expand our York County headquarters and plan for future growth.
Demand for grinders and custom industrial automation projects from our valued customers has continued to increase. That demand pushed us to expand our production shop and warehouse by 18,000 square feet and our office space by an extra 3,000 square feet. The addition will bring our headquarters facility to 61,000 square feet as ...
