Highlights from Weldon’s 2025 Open House

On July 17, we held our biennial Open House, where 170 industry professionals, individuals and families joined us to view our latest demo models, learn more about the industry during educational sessions, and discover all that Weldon’s robotics automation and CNC grinders have to offer.

We hosted three educational sessions – all with full attendance! Attendees learned all about artificial intelligence during the sessions:

  • An Introduction to Artificial Intelligence Focusing on Generative AI, hosted by Adam Marsh, President at Ledge, Inc.
  • AI in Machine Vision, hosted by Sam Garrison, Territory Sales Engineer at Cognex Corporation.
  • Making AI Work for You: Practical Applications for Small Manufacturers, hosted by Don Bolton, Manufacturing Technology Advisor at MANTEC.

Attendees also had the chance to see several robots – including Milton the Candy Robot and our Plinko demo robot – and CNC grinders in action. Check out our Plinko demo model video if you missed it!

Our Open House provides an opportunity for our team to share their passion and the innovation behind their work with our community, and we’re grateful for their effort in making it an informative and memorable experience.

Thank you to everyone who attended! We hope the Open House left you feeling inspired by what you learned about CNC grinders and robotics automation.

We’re excited to explore what’s ahead for the industry, and we look forward to welcoming you again in the future!
